Rutgers: Office of the President — Administration of the University

New Jersey statutes designate the 11-member Rutgers University Board of Governors as the principal decision-making body of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Complementing the role of the Board of Governors is the 59-member Board of Trustees, which serves in an advisory capacity. President Richard L. McCormick implements Board policies with the help and advice of his cabinet and other senior administrators.
