President's Cabinet
A subset of the larger Executive Leadership Team, President Tate’s Cabinet consists of his executive vice presidents and other senior leaders, focused primarily on universitywide administrative matters.
Keena Arbuthnot
EVP Arbuthnot is the chief academic officer of the university. She coordinates academic programs throughout Rutgers, manages the tenure and promotion process, and oversees offices for enrollment management, academic administration, global affairs, diversity and inclusion, libraries, continuing studies, and distance education.
William J. Castner
EVP Castner leads the Office of General Counsel, responsible for addressing legal issues arising from the activities of the university and its schools and units—offering advice regarding applicable laws, facilitating transactions, and providing representation to Rutgers clients.
Ralph A. Gigliotti
Chief of Staff Gigliotti plays a critical role in the coordination of the universitywide offices, oversees the operations of the President’s Office and the Office of the Secretary, and manages the flow of communications across the university’s cabinet offices. He also leads strategic and presidential initiatives.
Louis Gremillion Jr.
AVP Gremillion leads University Advancement and serves as Special Assistant to the President, partnering closely with the president to advance Rutgers’ mission and institutional priorities, with a portfolio that includes alumni relations, development, government and community relations, marketing and communications, and campaign planning.
Kimberly Hopely
President Hopely leads the Rutgers University Foundation, coordinating the institution’s fundraising for professorships, scholarships, fellowships, capital projects, research, academic and student life programs, athletics, and other priorities, and overseeing alumni relations across the university.
Kimberly Lewis
EVP Lewis oversees the administrative activities of the university. Areas under her purview are Institutional Planning and Operations and University Finance and Administration, which includes University Human Resources and the Office of Information Technology.
Kim Manning
Senior Vice President Manning leads University Communications and Marketing, the central division for communicating with the public, the university community, and news media about Rutgers’ achievements and activities, including media relations, Rutgers Today, promotional publications, the university website, brand management, university social media, and special projects.
Brian Quigley
SVP Quigley coordinates the university’s relations with government officials, including educating state and federal policymakers about university funding and policy priorities.
Keli Zinn
Director Zinn oversees intercollegiate athletics at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, including 24 NCAA Division I women’s and men’s teams.
