Searching for the Next SVP UCM
The SVP UCM, who reports to the university president, will serve as Rutgers’ chief brand strategist and reputation architect, responsible for developing and executing a unified communications and marketing strategy across a highly decentralized university. This leader works closely with the president, cabinet, chancellors, and leaders across enrollment, advancement, research, government relations, and athletics to align messaging, elevate visibility, and strengthen institutional identity. The UCM ecosystem includes Rutgers’ digital and media presence, internal and external communications and marketing, crisis communications, and engagement with Rutgers audiences across the spectrum from prospective students and their families to longstanding alumni and donors.
The search is being led by Ralph A. Gigliotti, Chief of Staff to the President, and is being supported by the search firm WittKieffer. For more information, please visit the firm webpage.
